As we begin our fourth year we are excited to share some important news about our organization's evolution! As you may have noticed our name has recently changed from the National Association for Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder to Gia Allemand Foundation, and we'd like to take a moment to explain why.
This past year NAPMDD developed an incredible partnership with the Gia Allemand Foundation, INC. As the year progressed our partnership quickly flourished into an incredible union. We were both working towards a similar goal; to improve the quality of women's lives through awareness, outreach, and recover by providing peer support, education, research and resources for those affected by Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (or PMDD) and female suicidal ideation. At this realization, we couldn't help but join forces and fight the good fight together, as one.
Although our name has changed, our services, our mission, and our integrity remain the same. We are still here for you, just as we have been since the birth of our organization. We have so much more work to do and we'd love to continue with you by our side!
We would love to answer any questions you may have and invite you to leave us a comment below.
From here we grow, and we'd love for you to grow with us!
